Dr. Kaitlin Donovan, the owner of Sundance Family Dentistry, is originally from Santa Barbara, California. She moved to Brevard County in elementary school and attended Divine Mercy in Merritt Island. She then went on to attend Melbourne Central Catholic High School. After high school, she attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale in the Farquhar Honors College, majoring in Biology, Pre-Dental. Dr. Donovan dreamed of becoming a dentist since she was four years old. She currently has research publications in the Journal of Microbiology and Biology Education and BIOS from her undergraduate studies.
After graduating from college, she attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. While at Tufts, her love for dentistry continued to grow and she became involved in various organizations promoting the link between systemic diseases and oral health. Dr. Donovan’s article on Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Found in Male Chinese Immigrants was published in Boston’s Chinese-English Newspaper, Sampan.
When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their dog Copley, and her family. She loves to travel and explore new places, especially National Parks.
